Five postcards, five artists, five ways of seeing Glossop
This curated set of postcards brings together the work of five local artists and creatives, each offering a unique view of the Glossop valley – through storytelling, photography, memory, history, and sensory exploration.
Selected from projects supported by Glossop Creates, the collection includes images from our Wander series of artist-led walks and our photography publication Wild Valley, created in collaboration with Dark Peak Photo CIC.
Each postcard captures a moment of stillness, light, or reflection in the landscape – from a solitary bench at sunset to the sweep of moorland near Crowden, the soft mist of Mossy Lea to the deep-rooted history of Whitfield Cross.
This set includes:
Clare Savory – “Sunset Bench Over Bottoms”
Saima Rasheed – “Dancing Mist”
Dr Tim Campbell-Green – “Whitfield Cross”
Michael J. Howard – “Looking Towards Kinder”
Dark Peak Photo CIC – “Crowden”
Printed in the UK using sustainably sourced materials.
All profits support Glossop Creates and our work with artists, makers and the creative community in the Glossop valley.
